VOLUNTEER

Our current volunteer needs:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a physical facility where volunteers can come to care for animals, except for those housed at Friendswood Pet Supplies Plus (PSP). Currently, we are only seeking volunteers for the following roles:

  1. Foster Volunteers

    • Provide temporary homes for pets in need. Pets may stay with fosters long-term, as they only move to PSP or another facility when space becomes available.

  2. Cat Condo Care at Friendswood Pet Supplies Plus (PSP)

    • Clean condos and socialize cats. Shifts are approximately 1 hour:

      • Morning: 8:00–10:00 AM

      • Afternoon/Evening: 4:00–8:00 PM

These are our current needs. If you have other skills or abilities you’d like to share with our rescue, please feel free to reach out by phone before applying. We appreciate your willingness to help and support our mission to save animals!

Become a volunteer

While we do not (yet) have a shelter building, we do have permanent cat kennels at Pet Supplies Plus in Friendswood where volunteers can clean kennels, get photos and video to help promote adoptable pets, or provide treats and affection to some of our adoptable cats. Volunteers can also participate in adoption and fundraising events as well as virtual duties that help free up time for our fosters.

You can fill out a volunteer application here.

Become a foster

Fosters are the backbone of our organization. From caring for abandoned infant kittens to socializing fearful animals or simply housing adoptable animals until they are able to find their forever homes, we rely entirely on fosters to save as many animals as possible each year.

Become a transporter

Most of the animals we take in come from and are fostered in the Friendswood/Alvin area; however, we do occasionally take in urgent medical cases from unincorporated areas of Brazoria, Galveston, and Harris counties. Transporters help us transport animals to and from our vet in Friendswood, between foster homes, and to adoption events.

Become a social media supporter

Every like and share on Facebook increases the number of animals we can save by helping our adoptable animals find their forever homes more quickly, by helping us raise the funds necessary to provide medical care for sick and injured animals, and by helping us reach more potential volunteers, fosters, and donors who can support us.

If you are on Facebook, please like our page to follow the stray and abandoned animals we help.
